This is a 10-month series that started in March for small businesses to learn the
roots of running a successful business from the ground up. Each
class will be taught by certified instructors, and will lead you
through steps to develop and organize your business all the
way from budgeting, forecasting, marketing up to developing
your exit strategy.

May Series Topic: Putting Financial Statements to Work for You

· Accounting Software: recording receipts and sales, and expenditures · How do I read my balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement? · What do the numbers really mean? · How to develop a complete monthly financial package ·What is the difference between income and cash flow?

Lunch will be provided during the class. Certificates will be available through TMCC for continuing education non-college credits - every 10 hours will earn 1 unit. You will receive a series binder with agendas, hand-outs and resources to use outside of the class.
